Christmas in July - The Indiana County Christmas Tree Growers Association and the Indiana County Tourist Bureau sponsor this event at Idlewild Park in Ligonier, PA. The Park is decorated for Christmas and has many events throughout the park. There is a competition of decorated Christmas Trees. Individuals, groups and businesses decorate the trees. The public determines the winners. What a great way to promote the real tree.

Christmas Tree Capital of the World - Belong to one of the longest existing associations of Christmas tree growers that promotes Indiana County as The Christmas Tree Capital of the World. The county is the center of the Christmas tree industry and has long been the knowledge center for Christmas tree growers.

Real Tree Promotion - Real trees are promoted through all of the association's activities.

Trees for Troops - The Indiana County Christmas Tree Growers have joined forces with the Pennsylvania Christmas Tree Growers Assn. and the National Christmas Tree Growers Assn. to send trees to our troops around the world. Over 16,500 trees were donated and distributed in 2007. Your membership gives you a chance support this effort.
